Justfaith
JustFaith: This year will mark the 5th year the JustFaith program will be offered at St. Sabina. JustFaith is a 30 week faith formation process that offers parishioners opportunities to explore Catholic social teaching in a deliberate and engaging way. This is accomplished through prayer experiences, dialogue, two weekend retreats, four border crossing immersion experiences, books, videos, guest speakers and community building. This year’s group began September 17, 2009.

Thursday Evenings, January 7 - February 11, 2010
Prison Reform: Church of the Second Chance
Through this 6 week study participants will:
· Engage the issue of prison reform from many angles
· Learn what people of faith have to say about punishment and justice.
· Identify common myths and misconceptions about prisons and the corrections system and why these myths and misconceptions have come to be so well accepted.
· Explore the concepts of rehabilitation and restoration.
Sessions are scheduled to begin Thursday, January 7 at 7:00pm. Cost for books will be $23. To register contact Becky Fenske in the parish office.
